
The topic had to be related to a specific fashion brand, mine being Victoria’s Secret, by choice. Being interested in the Middle East, I analysed the impact and success of the lingerie brand in the Arab Gulf States. The thesis explores the different countries of the Arabian Gulf, underling the success of Victoria’s Secret and the market possibilities the brand has there. However, these Arab countries being modest and the lingerie brand being quite the contrary of this, it was a delicate but fulfilling research that lead to the discovery of Victoria’s Secret being quite successful in the Arab Gulf States. In this research, I must underline that culture and religion is completely respected, and was approved by professors at Istituto Marangoni as well as locals, friends and acquaintances of mine, from the Gulf States.
